Diaz Prameyllawati

Diversity & Inclusion, International taskforce

Diaz is a PhD candidate at the department of Public Health. Her project is related to health technology assessment, specifically focusing on the costs and effects of (personalized) treatments for inherited bleeding disorders. Within Promeras, she aims to focus on international PhDs and to work on the diversity and inclusion taskforce.


Federico Silvestri

Digital affairs, Social activities

Federico is a PhD candidate at Clinical Genetics department and his focus is on muscle organoids on chip. For Promeras, he is involved in the social media campaigns and social relationships.


Franka de Jong

Digital affairs & Communications, Social activities

Franka is a PhD candidate specializing in human preimplantation embryo development at the Developmental Biology and Obstetrics & Gynaecology departments. As a member of Promeras, she plays a key role in organizing social events, enhancing their visibility on social media, creating promotional materials, and producing the monthly newsletters.


Isabel Bär

Career development, International taskforce, Social activities

Isabel is joining us from the department of Hematology, where she is doing a PhD studying gene therapy approaches for the bleeding disorder Von Willebrand Disease. For Promeras she is involved in organizing events for both career development and social activities. She also wants to support international PhD students working at the Erasmus MC.


Lesley Patmore

Treasurer & Acquisition

Lesley is a PhD candidate at the department of Gastroenterolgy and Hepatology. She studies the long-term outcomes of patients with chronic hepatitis B and D. At Promeras, she is treasurer and she is responsible for acquisition.


Marjolein Appelman

Treasurer & Acquisition

Marjolein is a PhD candidate in the Department of Hematology. She is committed to advocating for the rights of PhD candidates and aims to ensure fair treatment, better opportunities, and stronger representation for all PhD researchers. At Promeras, Marjolein is treasurer and she is responsible for acquisition.


Matthijs Klaassen

PhD Advocacy, PNN/LOUP, AAV

Matthijs is a PhD student at the Nephrology and Transplantation Department who joined Promeras to enhance PhD well-being, advocate for PhD rights, and contribute to the improvement of the PhD trajectory. As a board member, he is responsible for maintaining contact with the Arts-assistentenvereniging, participating in the LOUP (a national collaboration between all UMC PhD representatives), organizing the round tables of Promeras, and assisting with organizing activities.


Maurits Unkel

Mental health taskforce

Maurits is a PhD candidate at the department of Psychiatry, where he works as a neuroinformatician. He is actively looking to improve mental health and well being of PhD candidates in general.


Maxime van Veghel

Secretary

Maxime is a Neuroscience PhD and the secretary of Promeras. She has the role of secretary, ensuring seamless communication and coordination and maintaining connections both within the hospital and with external collaborators.


Stephani Schmitz

Career development, Social activities

Stephani is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Developmental Biology, where she is engaged in research focused on hematological malignancies. For Promeras, Stephani plays a key role in organizing career development events and supports the secretary when needed.
